Annual benefit statement

Your annual benefit statement provides you with the following information:
  • Your deferred benefits based on your contributory service and pensionable salary at the date you left service.
  • The current value of your deferred benefits, including details of Bonuses.
  • Details of your benefits and options at your Normal Retirement Age (NRA).
  • The percentage of your Lifetime Allowance used up by BCSSS benefits.

A breakdown of your benefits is provided so you can identify:
  • Additional benefits purchased if you were made redundant and used the option to pay part of your redundancy pay into the Scheme.
  • Additional benefits earned from contributions on overtime payments, attendance bonus payments or additional attendance payments.
  • The death benefits payable to your dependants from any Family Benefit Contributions you made.
